They headed outside to search feeling as though it was better to avoid the topic oh the missing dog he contemplated what to ask to strike up a conversation finally deciding on “Did you not come with any friends?”

“Yeah, uh…I’m sure he’ll be fine. We’ll find him.” Hinata mumbled while tapping her fingers on the phone inside her pocket. Even though she considered Cookie as one of her very close friends, no predictions of his whereabouts had shown up on her phone.

Come to think of it, I hadn’t even been warned that he would disappear…

Maybe the future diary only worked for humans? If that was so, the search would really have to be done without the friendship diary’s abilities…

But then, she was reminded that she wouldn’t be doing this alone.

“Thank you, Nagi-san.” She replied, glancing up at Nagi and casting him an appreciative smile.

“Nah, I didn’t come with anyone else. I originally meant to take Cookie for a walk by myself today, but I ended up visiting the park again…”
